Scooter Bars, Oversized or Standard ? What does this mean ?

In simple terms –
  • A Standard Scooter bar has no slit cut in the bottom, it is designed to fit into an SCS clamp, and the outside diameter of the scooter bar is the key dimension.
  • An Oversized Scooter bar has a slit cut in the bottom, it is designed to fit in over a fork with a compression sleeve fitted, and the inside diameter of the scooter bar is the key dimension.
As always , life is not as simple as described above, there are variations to these two descriptions that can make it more confusing and can make compatibility an issue sometimes.  There is always a way to do what you want but sometimes its best to ask the team at Numfish Surf and Scoot to get the best advice on how to make it all come together in the right way.
